Hey Hey Hey all you rudies of the world!!! Anyone notice the lack of SKA pages tripod has??? Well...i did...and i think that should just change right here and now... :) SKA, for all you people out there who are sitting at your computers thinking, "What on Earth is the loony chick talking about???" is a type of music, influenced by reggae and played by bands all over the world. Wonderful music has come out of cities like London, Sydney, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Boston, New York, Chicago...and the list goes on...This is the type of music that makes you move your feet and skank around with the groovy beat. :) Can you tell I'm a huge fan? Well...some of my very bestest friends belong to bands themselves...and even some of today's hugest ska bands can tell you, making it big is NOT something that happens overnight. Sure, most new bands have dreams of waking up one day with Madness' popularity and talent, Save Ferris' lead singer Mo!!!, or even The Aquabats' creativity. But that kind of success was worked for...and worked at hard, from what I can see. Finally the music world is paying homage to wonderful groups who very well deserve it...and bands like Save Ferris, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Aquabats, Reel Big Fish and more are getting placed in major line ups for some of the greatest concerts and music festivals around, such as my favorite, The Annual KROQ Weenie Roast. So...have I cleared up that two-toned question that may have been on your mind? Well good... :) For all the rudies out there: Keep On Skankin'!!!
